A new study co-authored by #MPIM_scientists P. Landschützer and T. Ilyina uses #large_ensembles to show that a state-of-the-art neural network method reproduces the model mean and seasonality of surface ocean pCO2 well from sparse measurement data. https://agupubs.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/abs/10.1029/2020GB006788 @theAGU
